Plus, its simplicity is a perfect canvas for playing with color-blocks!

We knit this version of our Minimalist Hat in two high-contrast colors of Lang . Worsted-weight and oh, so soft, this yarn has a loose, chainette construction. Precious softly waving fibers of cashmere and nylon give this yarn (and this adorable hat) plenty of puff.

The Details

FINISHED SIZE
19"/48cm around (fits 20-23"/51-58cm head); approx. 10"/25cm deep.

YARN
2 skeins (93 yds/85m each); 1 skein each in 2 colors. Designate Colors A and B.
Or approx. 93 yds/85m each in 2 colors of an equivalent worsted-weight yarn.

Shown in Colors A = 88 Teal and B = 59 Orange.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 9 (5.5mm) 16"/40cm circular needle and set of 5 double-points or size to obtain gauge.
US 7 (4.5mm) 16" circular needle or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needle.
5 locking markers, one in a different color to designate beginning of round.
Blunt darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
Approx. 20 sts = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch (knit every round) on gauge needle.
